We went to the mall today and Santa was there! I HAD to get Haylie's picture taken with Santa! Brian was pissy because they charge $13 for ONE 5x7 and the picture quality wasnt even very good - but OH WELL we cannot deny our little Piglet an opportunity to meet Santa! He had a real beard and everything :) I guess it was mostly for me really! :)

I really need to have a photo shoot with Haylie so I can get some good pictures - these just dont do her justice! :) I just havent had the energy to do it yet!

We think Haylie has put herself on a 3 hour schedule - she seems to wake up every 3 hours or so to eat or get changed or both! And last night she slept in her bassinet next to our bed the whole night! It was awesome!

Finally - some baby pictures!

Haylie was finally born! December 5th at 3:25 p.m. She weighed 8 lbs, 2 ounces and was 20 inches long!

After a few hours of labor getting nowhere - the dr recommended I get a C-Section :( Apparently Haylie was trying to come out sideways and the cord was wrapped around her neck.

I didnt take well to the anesthesia they tried to give me so they ended up putting me to sleep - so I didnt get to hear her first cry - I didnt see her until about 4 hours after she was born because I was in recovery :( That didnt go well either - I woke up screaming in pain.

I didnt enjoy the birth process at all! BUT - I did get a little baby out of the deal :) Here are some pics - I will post better ones once I get her in some cute outfits and am able to get out of bed! She looks alot like daddy :)

Nope - didnt happen last night!!!

I went to the dr yesterday and they told me that they wont induce labor until 41 weeks! I was SOOOO mad! :(

So I have an appointment to be induced on Thursday, Dec. 6, at 8 a.m.

The next couple of days are going to last a lifetime :(

Maybe tonight!

I'm really impatient so I called my dr and changed my appointment to "discuss induction" to today at 4:30! Soooo, if the hospital has a room open tonight I think they will send me tonight!!! :) YESSSS!!!

THREE DAYS overdue :(

Needless to say, I am very annoyed now! Last night I started to think that I MIGHT be going into labor - maybe - but NO! I think I was just stressed out and having stress contractions!

I have a dr appt on Tuesday - they are supposed to set the plan to induce me then - hopefully that means that I will be induced that day! I'm gonna whine until they do it!

This picture was taken yesterday during the Civil War game - we were supposed to have a baby to put that shirt on! UGH!!!!

Today is "D" day . . . STILL no baby!

I went to the doctor and he said I am 3 cm dialated and 80% effaced - Im sure everyone wants those details :) He said that was good - but then had me schedule an0ther appointment for next week - Tuesday - to set a time to induce in case I haven't popped by then! I was hoping that I would go in and he would say "You are ready to go to the hospital!" But no such luck!

Brian is so cute - last night he said - Maybe you will go to the dr and he will say that you are like 8 cm already! I said yes dear, that would be cool - but I think if I were that far along I would know it! I think he is getting anxious too - he just wont admit it! :)

I really hope she comes soon! She needs to watch the Civil war game on Saturday with her daddy in her tiny little Beavers shirt :)

Haylie's Room

5 days to go - I'm getting very impatient and uncomfortable and just want her out! Since I have no baby pics to post yet - I thought I would put some up of her room for those who can't see it in person :) There is also one of her area in our room!

I finally got the results of the ultrasound. They said that she weighed about 7 pounds, 9 ounces - give or take a half pound. But she can still gain 6-8 ounces a week until she is born! So that means I could be having an 8 - 9 pound baby! Ouch!!!

She is in the 64th percentile for size which is normal.

They are sticking with the due date of November 29th - they say that the due dates from early ultrasounds are more accurate than later ones.

So . . . any day now! :)

The Ultrasound

We went to the ultrasound on Thursday but found out NOTHING! Apparently Kaiser requires a radiologist to review the measurements so the tech that did our ultrasound couldnt tell us anything about her size or an updated estimated due date! They wouldnt even let us record it! Ugh!

Anyway, we did get to see Haylie though :) We saw her face and it was really weird - we could see her nose and mouth and eyes - they were all smooshed looking though so she looked like a scary alien baby! I decided not to post the picture because I'm sure it does not do her justice :)

My subconscious is starting to try to convince me I'm going to go into labor - but, still nothing yet! :(

12 days til "D" day!

Time is moving SO SLOW!

Two weeks left til "D" day! The last two weeks went by way too slow for me! I am way to anxious to get this baby out of me! BUT - I did realize last night that I WILL have a baby within the next 3 weeks - and that was a little scary!

Today we have an ultrasound - I really hope they say I'm further along than they thought and that she will be here SOON! :) I dont know if that would be better or worse for finals - all I know is that I'm sick of being pregnant and I wanna hold my little girl! :)

I will put the ultrasound pictures up later tonight probably!

4 Weeks to go!

Well there is no really interesting news at this point. I'm mostly just trying this blogging thing out.

I'm getting anxious and ready to get this baby out of me! I started packing our hospital bags already!

We are having an ultrasound on Nov. 15th to check her size and due date. I'm excited to see Haylie again! :)

So, I realized today that I am gonna have a baby THIS month - that is so crazy to think about!
